Release schedule. Kind of…

As I was getting ready to go to bed I noticed some people asking why there’s no chapter out yet, so I figured I might as well tell you about the release schedule.

Currently I have no fixed time to release the chapters, I normally post then as I finish TL/ED them, and therefore I have no saved chapters to post.

The promise of 2 chapters per day stands, but I know not everyone lives in the same time zone, and therefore you might notice days with 4 chapters and days with 1-0 chapters, I apologize for that. Remember, my time zone is CDT.

Would you like a fixed time for the releases instead of posting them as I finish them? (who am I kidding, of course you would like that)

For that to happen, I need to have a couple chapters in stock, just a couple, so I hope in a few days I’ll let you know the new fixed release schedule. I’ll take into consideration the hours with more traffic and release both at that time.

As for this time, my plan was to release 3 chapters Saturday and 1 chapter Sunday, but, as some of you might have noticed, I screwed up and TLd chapter #347 instead of #346, so I had to release #346 the next day (CDT).

Also, I want to let you guys know, Sundays are the days I take my nephew out to watch a movie or to a park, so Sundays I will only be able to release 1 chapter.

Anyway, see ya tomorrow for 2 more chapters (currently it’s 1:30 am of Monday)

    2. Dude, you post the chapters on your schedule. When you want to, and when you are able to.
      We (people in different timezones) will read accordingly.
      Remember: We have waited patiently for weeks without any promise of a chapter, we are more than happy that you are doing 2 chapters/day.
      tl;dr: Post the chapters as per your own pace, we will manage fantastically.

      It should be obvious to anyone that there are Timezone differences. For me, you posted usually around 1:00 AM the last times. So I took a look before going to bed, and if its not there, I have one additional to read the next evening. I call that a Win. 😀

      Also, while you are hard on keeping your promise. A day without a chapter shouldn´t kill anyone. Its awesome in itself that you are doing 2 Chapters a day.

    Thanks for continue this translation. I wish that I could hug you for this awesome work. I have no right to complaint because I don’t have $$ to pay for translation. But I can try to assist in other that I can do. This novel are one of my favorite, you don’t know how much it means to me to be able to read the story again.

    1. This is not a paid translation and it will never be. Sponsored chapters arent my thing, but i will still answer to the support you guys give me by gifting chapters above the usual number of releases.
      The comments and likes mean a lot to me, they let me know people enjoy what im doing and im not just wasting my time.
      Up until i reach chapter 400 you can expect 2 releases a day unless something happens (which i will let you know) or its sunday. Afterwards it will be anything between 7 to 14 a week.

      1. And one more thing, don’t rush to meet everyone expectations. Go by your own pace, just don’t put stress to yourself. I think everyone will understand as long you update your reasons, we all human, have life and many responsibility.

  6. Stick to your own pace. Schedules are nice for people, yeah, but I think being able to freely move with your own life is just as important (not saying that you should use it as a reason to get out of this responsibility)

    In fact I think a lot of people here would be satisfied with even just 1 chapter a day (not saying you should XD). I mean, I’m editor for RidwanTrans and our releases are just twice a week (my fault xD); in comparison you have a much better release frequency than us.

    you not need to fixed your release schedule to satisfied reader like us.
    you can release once you have time or when you want to.

  21. First of all, let me tell you, I love you 😀 I think all people going here to read this novel are glad that you picked it up. And honestly I think you do great job translating.

    If you want my opinion on release schedule then If I were you, I would post 2 chapters every 24hours (provided you can translate 4 per 48 hours). No matter how I look at it, getting fans and having highly satisfied audience (we are, believe me 😀 ) is all about consistency (I would say it is more about consistency than anything else).

    Of course breaks are good, and I don’t believe anyone would have problem with you taking time off.

  22. it was a few posts ago that translator mentioned his mouse button was double-clicking. when mouse buttons wear out, they either start double-clicking or difficult to register clicks. might need a new mouse if it starts happening very often. if it’s an expensive mouse, check if you’re still under the warranty period.

    2. Since we’re already talking about PC mice…
      My current mouse (G700s) has the same symptom and I’m thinking about getting a new one.
      I’m happy with the amount of extra buttons it has.
      You can recharge it while using, but it runs one a Ni-MH battery which is just stupid (memory effect).
      Does someone know a compareable mouse which runs on a Li-Ion battery instead without an obscene price tag?

      1. i’ve been using a cheap $5 mouse for 4 years and the right button just broke last week. i spent a couple hours researching, didnt know there were so many kinds of mice. it all depends on what you’re using it for, how you grip the mouse, size of your hand, whether wired or wireless, how many and the type of buttons you want, your price range, etc. i ended up getting a Mionix Naos 7000 on Newegg for about 59$. still in the mail, haven’t touched it yet. i was looking for wired, gaming, large palm grip with grooves for pinky, and more buttons but not too many. i don’t know how much this info helps you since you’re looking for rechargeable wireless mouse. don’t even know if this mouse is good until it comes in the mail.

        1. The G700s is pretty good, the only complaint I have is the type of battery it uses.
          Ni-MH batteries lose total capacity when you recharge them midway when they aren’t completely discharged, which makes the use while recharging feature moot.
          Using them while recharging just builds up a horrible memory effect.
          To avoid the memory effect you’d have to discharge them completely first and as a result I’ve bought several batteries and made it a habit to have several charged to switch them out whenever needed (which is just annoying).

          Li-Ion batteries on the other hand are supposed to be recharged while they still have some juice left and they don’t have a noticeable memory effect, but they need something to prevent overcharging otherwise they’d break.
          I couldn’t find anything online and could only think of modifying my mouse so I can use Li-Ion batteries, but I’m not a do-it-yourself wizard…
          That’s why I was asking if someone knew a mouse that already had everything I was looking for.

          I guess this is the wrong place to discuss this after all xD

        2. well the mionix naos 7000 is a good-looking and good-feeling mouse. it’s also very ergonomic for the full-palm grip. but after using it for a day, i decided that my table height preference is too high, and my arm posture is too low, for a full palm grip. the full palm grip is too wide and flap and drops my wrist onto the table. i think i will get carpal tunnel syndrome if i use it too long. so i will probably return the mouse and keep using those cheap mice that use claw grip and have those generic high-dome shapes.

  23. I would to be saved from cliff-san. I don’t really care if it’s not daily, i’ll even take a weekly, I think I would prefer a release with minimal cliffs. I know that this is being spoilt but just throwing it out there.

    SEKI! I curse you! Release that witch is my favorite novel and any chapter was good and would satisfy me. But now I have a good translator and the chapters make me want more and you give more! And when you dont give it, you explain why you didnt! I curse you! Since Im a white mage I can only try to use the happiness curse, but anyway I curse you!
