Quick heads up

Currently I’m writing this post with what’s left of my phone battery.
So… seems like I forgot to pay the electric bill. Which means no chapter today, I went to a friend’s to borrow to pay the bill but it seems like I’ll have power back until tomorrow (hopefully) or in worst case scenario the day after tomorrow.
I really hope I get it back tomorrow morning, I can’t do anything and I’m bored as hell just sitting here staring at my dog.
Really sorry guys.
Even my damn phone only has 11% battery left… I don’t know what am I gonna do… I’ll die of boredom.
And what pissed me the most was that I was doing work in my PC when suddenly power went out so all my work I had to deliver the day after tomorrow went to sh!t.
Gaaahhhh!!!!
…*sigh*
Will let you know when next chapter is coming out with the side menu when I get electricity back.

Jesus… I even posted this to the wrong blog…

      1. I hope not. I’ve got enough worries with my deadline drawing closer and closer and not being able to work.
If they don’t come fix this tomorrow I’ll have to pack my PC and go somewhere to finish the designs.

  3. Well that’s bad. Really bad.
I know how it feels to feel bored enough to make you feel like it’s a lot better to die.
It’s because we’re way to spoiled with today technology that once we lost it. It feels like we’re back to ancient times again.
How about you try to go out and bring your laptop to a Wi-Fi corner? In my country there is a spot where you are allowed to use internet for as long as you want and also charge you device as long as you pay for it first. And the good thing is it is cheap.

    1. I don’t have a laptop 😦 only my desktop. I did go and have a neighbor charge my phone a bit. So atm I’m reading some novels as I lie in bed.
I wish I had more books, I’ve already read the ones in the house.

      1. Book recommendation: “Fire Star” by Chris D’Lacey. If you want to add a cool story about living clay pet dragons to your bookshelf.

      2. If you REALLY want to kill time, there is an epic ongoing sci-fi series that currently has more than 100 VOLUMES available on Mobilism. I’ve been reading that for a couple of months now and still havent reached the 80 mark yet haha. Its a bit slow going at the beginning tho so hope you got some patience in you 😛

  4. Lol, if it was me that got electricity cut, maybe someone will find my body rotting next day, because my internet connection is from a modem, and if the power out, modem dies, my internet dies, and i die.

    1. I have a high speed fiber optic connection and my phone’s data plan. Both of which are horribly underused.
If one goes out (and it frequently does – construction knocking out fiber optic cables), I atleast have my data plan on phone.
Which leads me to the choice of my phone. Not a high end one and certainly not tiny or small or light, but it has one spec which trumps all smartphones (yes, even you iPhones and Galaxy’s): Battery. A massive 5000 mAh battery, which lasts for a full day if I am watching videos, playing games continuously. Under normal usage: 3 days.
I prepared for this shit 🙂

      1. My smart phone has a 3250 mAh. Which I augment with a 5000mAh recharger brick. Don’t look down on the Axon 7 heh.

  6. That sucks, man. Util providers can be merciless shit-bags sometimes. You could look into getting a battery backup for your PC. They’ll save your ass on the odd power flicker if nothing else. Keep your chin up.

  7. One acronym “UPS”.
It also saves you from power failures that are not self-induced.

Because it acts as a battery for your computer, you can simply save your work and shut down normally when the power goes out.
It saved my ass more than once. APC is a good brand for these things.

  8. That really sucks, hopefully no permanent damage occurred. You may want to look into getting a UPS for your desktop (uninterruptible power supply) so that you can shut down safely in the case of forgetting a bill or a power cut.

  10. Luckily my electricity provider would not do that to us if we have default in payment. Before they cut, they will send red bill and someone who personally pull the plug in the box. Usually they will ask whether we could settle the bill before they cut and only cut if we cannot settle the bill immediately.

However our telephone and internet provider are asshole, not even month lapse they cut already.
